If one has an excess weight then there is an abnormal production of calcium and uric acid in the urine, which helps the calcium kidney stone to grow. This study was published by the Journal of the American Medical Association in its Jan 26 issue. The Bostons' Harvard Medical school researchers have note that those whose weight is more than one hundred kg stand a 44 percent more risk of developing kidney stone than those whose weight is 68 and less than that. If the weight is more in women then there is more risk, if women have more than one hundred kg of weight then their chances of developing kidney stone are increased by 92 percent than in men. Thus keeping a healthy check on weight can prevent many disorders. |
